Telegram has been victimized to the state ownership and is resisting it for the internet freedom. When the Russian govt asked for the encryption keys, Durov opposed it and stood for the Internet privacy. Millions of IPs of telegram servers have said to be blocked,yet it works fine. Kudos to the programmers and brains behind it.
Like always, people shall not be afraid of the govt but the govt should be.
When we discusses such matters about privacy, its been so funny to think about the Aadhar cards in here. We have already exposed ourselves via our elected govt. What more we do have to loose? The govt acts like 'I am the state' for some unknown reason.
What does this govt wants to sustain and promote in India? Nationalism? Hindutva? Fascism? Aryanism? Power? Why don't they understand that,even though they establish one, it's not gonna last forever. All the history have taught us is that, people emerges from the reign of ignorance and will seek knowledge. Nothing can resist the unity made by knowledge and Conscience concreted by wisdom.
I think, telegram must be used widely in a country with 125+ crore people in it. My fellow friends, try using it and stand for our privacy.
