Does this creepy crawly looks like a snake to you?
Well this is a Mexican burrowing caecilian who is cousin to frogs and salamanders..
In the Class Amphibia, there are animals with legs and tail(salamander), animals without tail(frogs and toads) and animals without limbs but with tail(caecilians). Caecilians also exhibit a great array of parental care after laying eggs.
Sounds like the grouping guys are nuts.. 😁 but these animals seem to have a lot in common!!
