A group of people migrates to a particular place. They may be nomads or conquerors searching for more natural resources to exploit for their needs or even luxury.
They comes and takes up the land and resources. If there are some locals living there,they will resist taking away their resources. These locals must be tribals,is this is happening at an earlier stage,say before Christ.
Tribes are self sustaining units of society,untouched by other external affairs. May be a sustaining tribe would come only at the cost of tribal fights and battles. Superstitions and fear towards the nature and its disasters will be the only one they had in them. They would even have made them their deities. Unwise poor subjects follow their elders and leaders.
To such a tribe or group of tribes the conquers came. They conquered. Resistances were killed. Women were raped,children and old were murdered. Conquerors establishes their own rules which favours only for them.
Knowing the power of unity,conquerors always maintained the divide and rule technique between tribes. They created hatred between the tribes,often fake murders and fake encounters.
To rule them,the conquerors killed their leaders and kings. Annually or periodically celebrated the death of them as festivals,in time the festivals forgot the celebration of death ,instead became their righteous time to celebrate. Generations by generation,the conquerors played this game of chess. Many other conquerors came. Conquerors battled conquerors. Any way,finally there will be one conqueror left,who carries on the same methodology of divide and rule. The locals or the tribals who never knew the whole game always were their labours/slaves.
Conquered made rules,made them mixed with the deities and superstitions of the tribes,so that they would never oppose their own beliefs. Injection of the their own ideas to the beliefs of tribes,conquerors succeeded in keeping their royalty forever and always had the hold on the next move.
Tribes vanished. Settlements came. Tribals were plucked and planted in those settlements. Made them believe that they are the subjects of those conquerors and their descendants. Decades and centuries pass by. The tribal descendents lost their triumph they would have achieved over centuries to the medals these conquerors gave. And so forever they became the slaves and masters exploited them.
Moral : Once they caught a hold on your belief,you will be really confused. You can only see the whole picture,untill you leave your belief,to which they have hold and stand independently. Stand independently,realize your past,and dream for a better future.
